Add a New Fullfilment Center

Add a new fulfillment center to Shiplo by entering the center name, address, and capacity so it can be used in your shipping workflows.

 

Steps to add a new fulfillment center

1. Open the fulfillment centers area

Go to the section in Shiplo where fulfillment centers are managed.

2. Start a new fulfillment center setup

Select the option to add a new fulfillment center.

3. Enter the fulfillment center name

Add the name of the fulfillment center so it can be identified in Shiplo. The Scribe explicitly confirms that the workflow includes entering the center’s name. 

4. Enter the fulfillment center address

Add the full address for the fulfillment center. This helps Shiplo associate shipments with the correct fulfillment location. The Scribe explicitly confirms that address entry is part of this setup. 

5. Add the center capacity

6. Review the basic center details

12. Update details if needed

If any information is incorrect, return to the fulfillment center and edit the details.

13. Verify location accuracy

Make sure the address is complete and matches the intended operating location.

14. Confirm capacity details

Review the capacity field to ensure it reflects the center correctly.

15. Check naming consistency

Use a name that helps your team identify the fulfillment center easily.

16. Make sure the setup is complete

Verify that all required information has been entered before leaving the page.

17. Return to the fulfillment center list

Go back to the list view and confirm the new center appears correctly.

18. Review operational readiness

Ensure the location is ready to be used in future workflows.

19. Use the center in shipping setup

Once saved, the fulfillment center can be selected where fulfillment locations are needed.

20. Maintain the center details over time

Update the center information later if the address, name, or capacity changes.

21. Continue with shipping workflows

After adding the fulfillment center, continue with the related shipment or fulfillment setup process. The Scribe confirms this workflow is specifically for creating a new fulfillment center in Shiplo.
