Creating a New Shipment

Create a shipment in Shiplo by selecting an order, reviewing shipment details, confirming the shipping option, and generating the shipping label. Once created, you can track the shipment directly in Shiplo.

Before you begin

Make sure:

  • your account is set up

  • the order is available in Shiplo

  • shipment details such as address, package, and service preferences are ready

Shiplo’s public site suggests the shipment workflow is designed to help brands move from order handling to shipment creation and tracking in one system.

Steps to create a shipment

1. Open the shipment workflow

Go to the area in Shiplo where orders or shipments are managed, then select the order you want to ship.

2. Review the order details

Check that the customer and delivery details are correct before continuing. This usually includes:

    • recipient name

    • delivery address

    • item or package details

    • shipping requirements

3. Add shipment information

Enter or confirm the shipment details needed to create the shipment. Depending on your setup, this may include package size, weight, shipment type, or other fulfillment details.

4. Choose or review the shipping option

Shiplo is built around optimized multi-carrier shipping, so this step is where the platform may help determine the best shipping path based on cost, speed, or service availability.

5. Create the shipment

Once the shipment details look correct, create the shipment in Shiplo. This moves the order into the active shipping workflow.

6. Generate the label

After the shipment is created, print or download the shipping label if your workflow requires it. Shiplo publicly notes that the experience is designed to simplify shipping, including label handling across the journey.

7. Start tracking the shipment

After label creation, the shipment can be tracked from within Shiplo so your team can monitor progress and respond to delivery questions more easily.

What happens next

After creating a shipment, you can usually move on to:

  • printing labels

  • tracking shipment progress

  • managing delivery updates

  • handling exceptions or returns if needed

Shiplo’s public messaging highlights end-to-end shipment visibility as a key part of the workflow.
